This is our first Honey Process offering, and we're stoked to bring it forward.
This roast comes on strong with jasmine and a bouquet of dried fruit, but evens out with a hint of chocolate and honey.
We named this roast "Horizon" as a reminder that no matter how crazy life gets and how cloudy the skies may seem, there's always light just over the horizon.
For the month of June, all proceeds from this roast will be donated to help rebuild 10th Planet Long Beach. It was burned down in the riots the evening of May 31. You can check out their GoFundMe here.

There are two widely-used ways to process coffee: the Washed Process and the Natural Process. We won't get into details, but both are widely used by coffee roasters the world over and both have their place (we use both!).
But there's a third. A hybrid of the two known as the Honey Process. The honey process removes the coffee fruit but leaves the bean casing - a sticky, sugary, golden film known as mucilage (nasty name for a beautiful thing) - before letting it dry in the sun to get removed later. This process combines the best of the washed and the natural processes and leaves us with the great flavors of a naturally processed bean and the great depth of a washed process bean.
